Welcome to Down Range Firearms located in Redfield, South Dakota. Our mission is to support the hunting community by providing top-quality firearms, ammunition, and accessories tailored to the needs of hunters. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where novices and seasoned hunters alike can access reliable gear, and exceptional service, ensuring every hunt is safe, and successful.
Founded in 2021 Down Range Firearms was started in the garage until a suitable store front became available. At the end of 2022 we moved out of the garage into our current store where we have continued to grow adding additional services.
Product Range
We offer a wide range of shotguns, rifles, and handguns as well as Vortex, Hawke, Leupold optics and many more. We carry Krate knives, and many accessories.
Unique Offerings
We custom build AR-10 and AR-15 platforms, we offer gunsmithing services from cleaning to repair.
Our Commitment
Firearms are checked for operation making sure safety features are functional. Used firearms are cleaned and maintained and inspected to ensure it is a quality item.
Down Range Firearms is involved in several local hunting benefits. We are members of the NRA and the NSSF.

Meet the Team
Preston Bowar, Owner, grew up on a family farm nearby, spending time outdoors hunting and shooting led to his interest in firearms. Ryan Rogers Manager. Ryan handles the day to day operations of the store, from ordering inventory, receiving inventory, repairing/cleaning firearms. Ryan started out as a mechanic and has always had an interest in hunting and fishing, his experience has made him a true asset.
